AuthorBethany Barry
Bethany Barry is a self-taught beader who grew up a Quaker in New Hope, Pennsylvania. In the 1970s, she rejected her upbringing and opened a series of retail stores in Florida, California, and New Jersey, all of which sold beads and her handmade jewelry. After receiving her Bachelor of Arts degree in the 1990s, she began making her own beads and teaching classes, both locally and at national bead shows. She lives in Forest Dale, Vermont, with her husband.
SummaryGreat combinations have produced a lot of wonderful things-sweet and sour, wine and cheese, T-shirts and blue jeans-and the latest innovative pairing is beads and crochet.
